Lab M Agar No.4 has been selected specifically for use as a gelling agent in plant tissue culture techniques. The product is selected primarily on gel strength, a parameter of particular importance for this application and then tested to ensure it meets the parameters set by a major plant producer. The agar contains no nutrients for plant growth and is designed to be incorporated into classical and customers own formulations.
